Canadian cold wave duo TRAITRS conjure nightmarish tapestries of icy cold post-punk synth and guitars, motorik drum machine rhythms with horror-inspired lyrics and imagery. Their modern take on post-punk and relentless touring has cemented TRAITRS as one of the leading new goth bands in the international underground music scene.
BONNIE TRASH is the darkened shoegaze/post-punk drone project led by twin sisters Emmalia and Sarafina Bortolon-Vettor. If your high-school MP3 player featured tracks from Black Sabbath, PJ Harvey, doom metal legends Pentagram, or even shoegaze-y soft-rockers Slowdive, you’ll enjoy their unique flavour of rock. The recent addition of longtime friends Emma Howarth-Withers and Dana Bellamy gives the group a new lavish and layered sound.
Toronto duo DERMABRASION have peddled their fleshy post-punk in and around their home town with a deceptively ferocious live show. Adam Bernhardt and Kat McGouran started writing and performing together in 2015 with defunct Toronto punk band WLMRT, and launched Dermabrasion in 2021 with demo EP Lunate, followed by debut album Pain Behaviour in early 2024.
